Ordered pizza and watched this show, "Grey's Anatomy" with Janessa.
It was a musical episode of what I believe is a medical drama. Not super dramatic I guess.
Pizza was from Bonello's on Gaffey. Pretty good.
We desperately need to find our own pizza place.

Market Liquor on 22nd St. in San Pedro is the place to be if you are a pigeon lookin' for some shut eye.

Tonight I helped Janessa move some crap out of her storage and take it down to her parent's house in deep SP. Coolest place in San pedro, that neighborhood; most 'catted' house I've been in my entire life :(

Clicking; Double Clicking...

I don't know a lot about computers, but I know a lot more than the average user. This is often the car with me. I sound pompous there I think. I don't mean to. I just trend to learn the ins and outs in great detail, about the things I use or see often. I don't think out is because I am smart or gifted or even clever. I feel that I am somewhat observant and remember functions that I repeat. I remember odd bits of information that happens to be very random and very helpful.
I used to be a know it all and insist I was right even I was wrong.
Then I doubted every thing I thought I knew. Now, I take notes and know how to double check as well as how to let someone know all of this.
Most of the time I will just know something and I can't figure out why. That's the most fun to explain.

My point is, when it comes to my job (any job) I seem to know a lot and I seem to be very good at stuff, but no one can really figure out why; including me.

This photo is just of the 10 key on my keyboard at work. I took it after taking a shot of my computer screen.
I got full access of AvidXChange today. I was made administrator of it. To a lot of ppl this would be a lame accomplishment. To me it is a huge deal. I have had a poor rep at work for a long time. Breakdowns really do a number on your performance at work. (Lol)
So even though I "know more about Avid than anyone else at the company" I had to earn the confidence of my supers.

I finally did
I'm great at Avid; still kind of crap at 10 key.
I'm really proud of myself.

Human Trap

These adorable creatures are my cats. They lay wherever they can on the bed to trap me. Cats don't give a crap if you want up. They are busy napping; on top of you, on either side of you, pinning you under the blankets so you are trapped there as their prisoner, forever doomed to cuddle and keep them warm.

Margarita Monday

Janessa found that a white Mexican food place near our place that has Margarita Mondays! $2.50 house margaritas. They have happy hour food too, but you have to sit in the bar area and it was full.

So no half price guacamole for me but the cheap drinks were on.

Double Vision

I may have placed this penguin strategically on the floor in order to photograph him. It is also likely that this photograph accurately reproduces how I was actually seeing said penguin.

This was after multiple orange vodkas and soda, some swigs of Jager from a fancy flask at Laz's Lazmas party.

I think it was number 5. Seems weird. I think it was weird, but who can tell? Lol

It's All About Color, Isn't it?

Today I wad gifted with 5 Skittles. I decided to eat them one at a time instead of creating my usual "combos."
One by one, I chewed and analyzed my thoughts and feelings about each color.

I chose purple first, as it is my chosen path to eat a purple and green combo.
It was nummy. Grape flavor I assume. Who doesn't love fake grape flavor?

Second, I selected the obvious follow up; green.
I bit into it, letting the flavor introduce itself properly to its current location and register in my brain.
I hoped for the best. I wanted to know its mysteries. I wanted to like it. Conclusion? It was gross.

Next: Orange. Always my least favorite flavor. Same consideration for this color but to no avail; gross.
(still not as gross as Green)

Now up to bat was Yellow. I'm sure threre was flavor, but you can't expect me to remember everything!!
It's lemon flavored.

Finally, Red. It was alone, all tarted up in its red shell or coating...
Anyway! I popped it in, hesitated to bite in. I knew it would be delicious and didn't want to admit it.
It was delicious.
Every one likes a tart; even if only in secret.

Dream Design

All the things we see in our minds are completely ours.
Our brains create every thought, every emotion we have.
Given that one dreams, it follows that one creates.
At least one's brain creates.

What happens to those who do not dream? Those who suppress their dreams?
What about those who lie about their dreams?

Are they hiding? Are they ashamed? Maybe they are just confused, intimidated, afraid.

The human mind is a terrifying machine; fear of one's own thought design is understandable.

Is the ability to control one's dreams a sign of strength or of weakness?
Maybe it depends on what one is molding the dream to be.
Does it change to winning over losing? Fire instead of explosions?

There are commonly a few seconds during which we have control over them and they become whatever we want them to be. So if you die before you wake...

And Another Thing!

Starting on my birthday this year, I am going to use this as a photo blog.
Thanks to handy internet phones (how handy) I can probably keep up with this.
