Smelly Cat

Kitty went to the vet yesterday morning. She got some shots and a bath. She doesn't have cancer and the few teeth she has left look great.

Since her return, Liquorish has been thoroughly disapproving of Kitty.

Nothing but hissing, growling, refusal to hang out, and dirty looks.

Liquorish has taken to hanging out on a reusable bag on the counter. Who knew those bags had so many uses?!

I was very concerned about Likity's behavior so I did what any sensible cat owner would do.

I Googled it.

Apparently Liquorish did not somehow contact rabies from Kitty's vaccine, she just doesn't recognize her smell.

The Elders of the Internet told me to segregate the smelly cat where disapproving cat cannot disapprove so rudely.

As you can see I have to keep Kitty confined so she doesn't run amok and start doing battle.

So anyway, the trick is basically to get them to smell the same. One can rub towels on the both of them or dab them both with a scent, like vanilla.

Justin Bieber has a new perfume out. Maybe I'll try that.

Nothing says communal kitty love like the exploitation of an under age pop star.
